The best ways to make money are the methods that involve very little effort, and even better, those that make us money without us even having to give them a second thought. So once I heard about Airtime Rewards, it sounded too good to be true!
I have already managed to get money off my monthly mobile bill without even logging onto the app. I just make my usual purchases in shops like Wilko, Boots, Halfords and Asda and the cash back is deposited into my wallet in the app.

What is Airtime Rewards?
Airtime Rewards is a free mobile app that is available on both iOS and Android and it rewards you with money back on your everyday purchases. All you have to do once you’ve downloaded the app to your mobile is create an account and link it up with as many of your debit or credit cards that you would like. Although the idea of an app tracking your purchases can be scary to some people, Airtime Rewards has a Level 1 PCI Compliance, which is the highest form of security, so there is no need to fret.
So far they have 1.7 million members who have learnt over £9 million between them.
Which phone networks does it work with?
Airtime Rewards works with all major mobile networks, including contracts and Pay As You Go. These include:

- Vodafone
- GiffGaff
- Asda Mobile

- Virgin Mobile
Once you’ve hit the £5 threshold you can then redeem it off your mobile phone contract or use it as a pay as you go voucher.
How much can you earn?
The answer to this question really depends on how much you are spending and how frequently you are going shopping. The rates of cash back vary depending on each retailer – some start at 1% and others go up to 10%.
Don’t get me wrong I haven’t made a fortune from it, however it has definitely made a difference and has helped save a few pennies on my phone bill.
It’s important to note that the money isn’t instantly available to you, and 5 days after you make your purchases the cash back will show up as “pending”. After 35 days the money will show up as available in your Airtime Rewards wallet.
