Brit On A Budget is packed with quick and easy tips for making and saving money, and it’s a great introduction to managing your finances and creating and sticking to a budget.
I founded the site in March 2018 when I was 19 years old, and I was on an apprentice wage of £3.30 an hour. With a car to run and still wanting to enjoy my social life, I began researching ways to help my money go the extra mile.
After finding what I’d learnt had worked for me, I decided to share my advice online, which became Brit On A Budget.
In March 2020, aged 21, I purchased my own house. I documented my savings journey on my Instagram page, and my aim is now to show that anyone can get some money behind them if they are motivated enough.

My audience is predominantly females who are aged between 25-34 years old. They visit Brit On A Budget for ideas to save money to put towards a holiday, clear their debts, buy a house or look for tried and tested ways to make money from home.
